  • 1 (12 oz) package seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried sage

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions and celery for about 5 minutes until soft.
  3. In a large bowl, combine sautéed vegetables with stuffing mix and gradually add chicken broth until moistened.
  4. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and sage; place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spoon the stuffing mixture generously over each chicken breast.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and stuffing is golden brown.
