- Add diced carrots and celery; cook until softened, around 5 minutes.
- Pour in vegetable broth and stir in tomato paste. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil; then add alphabet pasta and peas. Cook for 8-10 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot in bowls, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
