- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 20 square wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold diagonally to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry rangoons in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
