  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds, divided
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and half of the black sesame seeds.
  3. Marinate the salmon fillets in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated salmon in a baking dish lined with parchment paper and drizzle with remaining marinade.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and top with remaining black sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
