  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooked rice or pasta, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sear the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and Italian dressing mix until smooth.
  4. Spread half of the sauce mixture in a baking dish, place the seared chicken on top, then pour over the remaining sauce.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, removing the foil for the last 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
