- 1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the chicken into bite-sized pieces and thinly slicing the bell pepper and onion.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions and bell peppers for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 7–10 minutes until golden brown.
- Pour in the buffalo sauce, stir well, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Cut hoagie rolls open and fill each with the chicken mixture, topping with provolone cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
