  • 24 oz frozen potato and cheese pierogi
  • 14 oz fully cooked kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced onions in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  2. Add sliced kielbasa to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. In a crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi followed by half of the sautéed onion-kielbasa mixture. Sprinkle with cheese before repeating layers.
  4. Pour chicken broth evenly over layers and spoon dollops of sour cream on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until bubbly.
  6. Optionally, add more cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
