  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water (110°F)
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (+ more for drizzling)
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 tbsp dried dill weed

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Gradually mix in flour and salt until combined. Knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Press down the risen dough onto a greased baking sheet, making dimples with your fingers. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dill weed.
  5. Evenly distribute chopped dill pickles over the top and bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
