Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top. Let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).

- Divide the dough into 8 pieces, shape each into a bagel by poking a hole through the center and stretching it.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Boil each bagel in salted water for 1 minute per side; transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets.
