  • 1 egg (for wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Stir in the chopped mushrooms and thyme; cook until mushrooms are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then mix in cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 4 inches wide).
  6. Place spoonfuls of the mushroom mixture onto each square. Fold edges or leave open-faced; brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
