  • 4 tilapia fillets (150g each)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons (about 1/4 cup)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbly.
  3. Add the seasoned tilapia fillets to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
  4. Remove the fish from the pan and keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then stir in lemon juice and remaining butter until combined.
  6. Return the tilapia fillets to the skillet to coat with sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
