  • 1 cup fresh basil pesto
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Spread a generous layer of basil pesto over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Evenly distribute the torn mozzarella over the pesto layer.
  5. Sprinkle halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  6. Transfer the pizza onto the hot stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes if desired. Let cool slightly before slicing.
