  • 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp pineapple juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs (about 1 inch).
  3. Optionally, sear meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. Pour half of the BBQ sauce into the slow cooker. Add meatballs and pour remaining sauce on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until cooked through.
