  • 12 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil (for garnish)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the no-boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce; let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with the egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer with noodles, followed by cheese mixture and shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
