  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 medium fresh lemons (juiced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add heavy cream and lemon juice to the skillet; stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. 4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the sauce along with Parmesan cheese, mixing well to coat. Add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
