  • 1 store-bought pie crust
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (any color)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and crab meat; cook until shrimp turns pink, approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Unroll one pie crust into a pie dish. Pour the seafood mixture into it.
  6. Cover with another pie crust, seal edges gently, and cut slits for steam to escape.
