- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- 4 tbsp butter or olive oil, melted
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Dice chicken thighs and season with salt, pepper, cumin, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Stir in fresh parsley.
- Lay a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface, brush lightly with melted butter or olive oil. Layer another sheet on top.
- Place one tablespoon of filling at one edge of the phyllo sheet. Fold into a triangle shape over the filling and continue folding until sealed.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange briouats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
