  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (or 1/2 cup frozen, thawed and drained)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tsp water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until about ¼ inch thick. Cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
  2. In a bowl, combine spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until well mixed.
  3. Take each strip of dough and place a spoonful of filling at one end. Roll tightly towards the other end and twist into a tree shape.
  4. Brush with egg wash if using for a golden finish.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
