- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brew espresso and let it cool slightly. Add coffee liqueur if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy (about 5 minutes).
- Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture and layer them in a dish.
