  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken legs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken legs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Place chicken legs in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them. Seal tightly or cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for maximum flavor).
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
  5. Grill chicken legs skin-side down for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) with nice grill marks.
