  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated (about 1 cup)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita breads or burger buns for serving

Instructions

  1. Chop parsley, mince garlic, and grate cucumber.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, parsley, minced garlic, diced onion, crumbled feta, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into four patties about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 6-7 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. For the tzatziki sauce: In another bowl, mix grated cucumber with Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and chopped mint until well combined.
  6. Assemble burgers by placing cooked patties on pita breads or buns and topping generously with tzatziki sauce.
