  • 8 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus (about 12 spears)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares approximately six inches wide.
  3. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto and place it diagonally on a pastry square.
  4. Fold over the corners of the pastry to enclose the asparagus and prosciutto, pinching to seal.
  5. Beat the egg with water in a small bowl and brush this mixture over each bundle.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving warm.
