  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut cauliflower into uniform bite-sized florets.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together water to create the batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, then coat with the flour mixture. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. While baking, combine orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until blended.
  6. Once baked, toss the cauliflower in the orange sauce and serve garnished with green onions.
